Top up your JobStar.in wallet with a minimum usable amount of ₹500. 18% GST is added at checkout, so a ₹500 top-up costs about ₹590 to pay — and ₹500 is what's credited as usable wallet balance. There's no upper limit on how much you can add.

Browse applications for free.
View every application and every applicant's profile that comes in for your job — browsing and reading resumes doesn't cost anything from your wallet.

Shortlist the candidates you like.
When you find a resume worth moving forward with, click "Shortlist." That's the only action that's billed, and no extra GST applies at this step.

The moment you shortlist a resume, ₹50 is debited from your usable wallet balance for that resume. Shortlist 5 resumes and ₹250 is deducted; shortlist 20 and ₹1,000 is deducted — it scales exactly with how many candidates you shortlist.

None of this applies to job seekers. Creating your profile, uploading your resume, searching for jobs, and applying to as many roles as you want is completely free on JobStar.in, and always will be. The wallet, GST, and shortlisting fee exist only on the employer side of the platform.
Wallet Rules, In Plain Language
- Minimum top-up is ₹500 usable balance. This is the smallest amount you can add to your wallet in one go, before GST.
- 18% GST is charged on every top-up. Whatever you pay, GST is deducted first and only the remaining net amount is credited to your wallet as usable balance — so the balance shown in your wallet is always the tax-free amount you can actually spend.
- No maximum top-up. Add ₹500 or ₹50,000 — it's entirely your choice, based on how many candidates you expect to shortlist.
- Non-refundable. Once money is added to your wallet, it cannot be withdrawn or refunded — it can only be spent on shortlisting resumes on JobStar.in.
- Lifetime validity — no expiry. Your wallet balance never expires. Whether you use it in a week or a year, it stays exactly as you left it until you spend it.
- ₹50 is charged per resume, not per job, and GST-free. If you're hiring for three different roles and shortlist 2 candidates for each, that's 6 shortlists × ₹50 = ₹300 deducted from usable balance, with no extra GST at this step.
- Balance is always visible. Your current wallet balance is shown on your employer dashboard at all times, so you always know how many more shortlists you can afford before topping up again.
